8 months agoI played around a bit with hledger, but ultimately did not see a reason to switch from ledger. I don’t remember if I ran into any issues, but at least they are not totally compatible.

I stopped looking after I found ledger-cli.
Besides CSV, if you want to have lots of optional fields, a YAML file in a git repository is an option. Use
yqor to query it.
