Navidrome + MusicAssistant

Not my server, it’s a shared one I have a http server and some files on. I want a nice frontend. I’ve used all in one php ones with some success, but this looks nicer.

Reckon I can get this going somewhere where I don’t have sudo?

Did give it a go a few months ago, but was a bit congitively heavy with lots of menus and reading.
If you like clicking I think it’s pretty nice with everything in reach + more.
If the aim is to save money, figure out how long it will take you to break even. Then the service life of such a machine

And you check the ones you want or its all or nothing?
HTPC plugged in with Linux on it.
MusicAssistant, navidrome, MusicBrainz

Pilates for 20mins a week fixed my bad desk posture.
Is this a local address or a public IP address?
I just want the resolving internal to my network but I never got it working right.
How does my DNS know where to look for this?

Wezterm is pro
Banks and some chains like supermarkets get boarded up for the day here. Few helicopters flying around and lots of black masks and clothing. Few burnt Porsche usually too.
Guess where 😆

Was using realvnc to vnc from remote, it was easy and cloud driven.
Fully swapped to tailscale and normal VNC sever now.
Performance is good and works great for the troubleshooting and small GUI stuff I need to do.

However I use stuff like cp -g for a progress bar from the Rust verskons, and then a dev to come along and contribute that in the GNU C version compared the Rust ones, I think the GitHub Rust version is more inviting and easier?

I’ll take the other side!
Portable in the sense there is no lock in ie I can get up and leave with my data.
It’s a bit hard to do that with anytype.
If they stopped producing features or I wanted my data in another program, I’m stuck with a “Open source” format, but no where to go…
Unless that has changed, then I would take a look again.
AFAIK they have a proprietary data format so your files aren’t really that portable. Therefore I suggest obsidian and syncthing together.

You want SMS but not Google. How does that line up?
Spying is OK, but not if it’s Google?
Nice frontend plus Spotify integration for the library and then selecting different output sources from said frontend.
