Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's the oldest thing you enjoy on a daily basis?
9·6 months agoMy PS2. Thanks to Homebrew and some gadgets I bought I can to play a ton of games in their original hardware and it’s been awesome.
Only if I’ve had a lot of fun and want to know who is responsible for my happiness, or if the game doesn’t allow me to skip them.
Speed Racer (2008) by the Wachowskis Sisters.
No.
I wouldn’t go to the extreme of being a completely different person, a reactionary or something, but I would be much less than I am now, and that would be bad for me.
I say I would not go to extremes because my parents are already within the left political spectrum and because of their upbringing I have a predilection to it, but it is certain that I would not have delved as deep as I have so far.
On the religious side, however, I don’t think there were any changes. I didn’t believe when I was a child, and I believe less now, even though my mother is very devoted to God and I am baptized. It is what it is.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever cried over a celebrity or complete strangers death, why?
18·6 months agoWhen Akira Toriyama died I had to take some time off in the middle of work and go to the bathroom to cry. I think the reasons are obvious if you know who the man was. Here in Latin America Dragon Ball is almost a religion, you see the Z warriors wherever you look. Akira’s pen drew the childhood of millions around the world for several generations, it is difficult to find someone here who has not been marked by his work. Even now my heart still crumples a little at the memory of him.
May you rest in peace, Master. As long as your memory lives on, you will remain immortal.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why do Americans want to know the month first and the day second?
14·6 months agoMmm not so much. I prefer to know on the first day so, for example, how close I am to payday, which is every two weeks. I don’t care that much about months other than December since I finished college.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why do Americans want to know the month first and the day second?
32·6 months agoPerhaps because where I live there are no seasons in the same way as in the United States, knowing the month doesn’t matter to us unless we work in the fields, here there are only months of sun and months of rain.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?
61·6 months agoI think my laptop, a Samsung Notepad with touchscreen. Before I got it it was already used and has been with me for more than 10 years. A couple of years ago I gave it a new life by installing Linux and I hope it will last me another 10 years.

That’s so cool!
