I’ve noticed there is a LOT of hate for AI here.

It’s not that black & White, AI can be good for some things

My philosophy is that a kid won’t go hungry with various options of healthy food in front of then every day if that’s what they’re used to.

They will eat what their bodies need as long as its available to them.

It’s when kids are used to eating lasagne /pizza/ burgers constantly that they becomes less interested in veggies.

I take myself as an example, I’m often not hungry at 8pm, but if you lut lasagne in front of me I’ll eat everything. If you put chicken & veg in front of me I won’t, but 2h later before bed I’ll eat it all because then I’ve actually become hungry

IMO how you persuade them is buy just limiting the stuff they get too much from.

If you just had a huge lasagne, you’re not going to feel like veggies. But if you had chicken & rice then you’ll have space for veggies. (flawed example, but you get the idea)

I was 8 years old, my teacher gave us a task to write 20 sentences. Each sentence must contain the word “I” and “My”

I was done long before the other kids and started doing other things, my 20 sentences were:

I walk my dog.
I walk my cat.
I walk my hamster.
I pet my dog. I pet my cat. I pet my hamster. Etc…

When she saw what I did she lost her shit, scolded me and took me to our grade’s head teacher to scold me in front of her.

I have TrueNAS with 2x 6TB HDD’s in a ZFS Mirror

I plan on getting another 6TB drive, leave it at my parents and have it power on once a week and sync, so that if my house burns down I don’t lose everything

thanks I managed to enable openvino and pick a stronger model and it’s working quite well, I also bumped the ram to 10gb

A really easy solution is to just install TrueNAS and the install “apps” from there, it’s basically like using a PlayStore.

It has some limitations but I think it’s a easy place to start. (bonus if you run it in proxmox)

I can’t imagine why anyone would put themselves through the insane amount of effort it takes to figure this stuff out and set everything up. Yet I love it, just want to keep tinkering and doing more
