What is to prevent me from giving my information to someone who is under 18? Or worse, it is stolen?
Anyway what you are describing is very similar to SSO. But of course the service can validate the token, by asking the token generator (the gov service.) then the gov service sees that pornhub is asking about that token, now they know what website you are on.

Not sure why you are being downvoted. I’m wondering the same thing. If you’re launching a goddamn ballistic missile, I’m pretty sure you’re ok with being within a few extra yards of your target.
I can see other reason the government might limit gps for non-military use, but if you’re claiming it’s ballistic missiles I call bullshit.

If you just have some random handle that isn’t your name. How are they gonna trace that to you?

Yeah RetroPi does pretty much the same thing. Though I’m not sure how well it’s been maintained in recent years. My install is years old and rarely used anymore.

I’ve being using RetroPie on an RPi for years. Is this the same thing, but just for the arch distro?

One would think something similar would happen to the Republican Party. Yet here we are.

I hadn’t heard this take. Did David cheat by using the slingshot? Was that not allowed? Was this like a duel with rules?
People in the Midwest that have the tornado sirens, I’m sure they can leverage those for this purpose. I don’t think there are any “nuclear war warning” sirens in my area.

A lot of the tools are available, for free, in a consistent format from whatever distro’s repo. These tools and libraries are accessible from the CLI and therefore scriptable. This makes for a level os automation and consistency you might not get on windows.

Well he worked there, so he might know.
Seems like faking your death would cause more privacy problems than it solves. Why not just “stay alive” with a completely innocuous identity? Then adopt some new identity which cannot be traced back to the original?

Looks like they are on feddit.org to me.
Your client will usually show @<server> after the username. If not, check your client settings if you’d like to enable it to display that.
The fact that you even have to ask this is a problem.

Why all these Reddit memes today? Did they have another meltdown over there or what?
First thought this was about FTP, which I also hate.
To verify the signature with the public key, don’t you need to contact the service/party that signed it?
